I went to Sunday school extremely briefly. My grandma pulled me because one of the teachers got really weird and basically interrogated me as to why I had a dad and no mom and it was gma bringing me. I don't remember it, only vague memories of the building, but she was fuckin pissed recounting it.

I can appreciate the deranged sentiment but that's just so sad

My religious aunt scolded me for picking out a mermaid at a clay statue painting activity because "mermaids aren't one of God's creatures." I asked her why they had a copy of The Little Mermaid and she was Mad. My cousin had the unicorn beanie babies baby with the horn cut off for the same reason.

Sometimes I wonder what it's like to be from a state that's never ever in the news. Like I obviously have it much better being from New York but we also are in the news so much. I wonder what it's like to be from a forgotten state, like Nebraska.

I feel like this neighbor has to be the package thief

How did they even fit 5 people in there??

100

I've never gotten past the first few days of Stardew Valley because they tell you to meet your neighbors but half those people aren't accessible immediately. A friend was like oh you need this wiki. And man, I didn't want to need a wiki for a farm game.

I'm pretty sure BD3 is a D&D game for people who love manuals, which is why I've not tried it. All the choices in the game are gonna Be Like That

It doesn't explain it at the character creation screen at all (I've not played it)? That's certainly a choice

100

It could but I wouldn't let it bother me on dipping my toes in. There's technically race benefits in elder scrolls but I don't think I've ever let it influence my character creation choice

Pick whichever one is hottest to you

I also got told "my kid would love your house, he'd never wanna leave" and I consider this to be high praise. My niece and nephew also told me my house is "super cool". When I was a tween the adults in my family told me I could "decorate my own house however I want when I'm an adult".

Send me some fancy local rice, I'll judge for myself

I am so curious about natto. I've primarily heard the texture is bad, but from others the taste or the smell. Wouldn't the texture be improved over rice? Idk I ate a lot of boogers as a kid so that's not a deal breaker

My contractor told me he liked all my anime stuff even though he didn't know any of the characters. "I like Goku, do you know Goku?" Yeah man, I love Goku.

Stargate asks the important questions like "what if Ra was an extremely hot twink?" This was a great 90s sci-fi flick, surprised it doesn't get talked about more.

I’m so sorry to have to write this, but after Jones was sent home the blockage returned, and so he’s going to have to go in for surgery today. The surgery should be the final word on this issue, but it’s not going to be cheap, so we would really appreciate it if you could keep sharing this link
