Well that was delightful, if a bit tough going on the legs. Bourn2Run 10k in Cambridgeshire - which is categorically not flat, let me assure you! Fair bit of walking in the second 5k but I'm happy with that - nice to take part in such a lovely community event! #loverunning ❤️

Fourth shockwave treatment for my achilles this evening. Pressure increases as the treatment progresses so there were a few "ouch" moments as she worked over the insertion point on the bone. Definitely worth it though - already walking and flexing the joint more comfortably. Fingers crossed!!

Just back from a brilliant night at the New Theatre in Peterborough watching this amazing show. I'll admit to a bit of Salford bias here (obvs!) but this is a really, really good show. If it's coming to your area I can highly recommend it. Funny, sharp, coarse, wry, heartbreaking. Proper Manc!

As someone who was working in London regularly in 2016, I absolutely feel, smell and enjoy the difference when I travel to the London office now. Quieter, cleaner and a nicer place to be. I cannot believe anyone thinks bringing the old high traffic levels back is a good thing - crazy.

Ongoing treatment for my achilles-aggravated, f@#*%@g heel spur means I can't wear many of my fave boots due to heel pressure. So trying some new ones today - Adidas Terrex hiking boots, based on trainers, lighter and more flexible. Feels like they might work well with a gel heel insert 🤞🤞🤞

What better way to spend a bank holiday evening than on board a heritage railway, eating fish and chips and watching the sunset. The Nene Valley Steam Railway really is a lovely treat - even with a diesel engine, due to lineside fire risk. Had a great time! #choochoo 🚂
