I don’t have credit for the creator of this, but it’s perfect

A black cat and a chain link fence. Title “trying to fit in and be social”. Left panel, the cat is sat behind the fence. Right panel, cat has smooshed his face into the chain link, his eyes are stretched and he looks like he deeply regrets his life choices

Well. I save up energy to go to one event a year. The event was great though the weekend was cursed. Today’s the day for recovering. More leather pics tomorrow. She missed me #cats #catsofbluesky

This book is excellent. @tkingfisher.com has done an excellent job keeping the complexity of the character and the complexities of his trauma in this work. I think it was brave of the author to do it, just knowing how particular the fandom can be. But I’ve already cried twice. It’s heavy and deep,

Must be a memory day. This was Peaches, who died before I could tame him. I miss him all the same; even though I never got him inside and safe, he was good company outside. #cats #catsofbluesky

Floofy orange boy sitting in the flowers. He was quite certain they were planted entirely for his happiness.

I’ve never had a cat that sees the camera and flipping poses before, but this little monster is gorgeous and knows it. #caturday #cats #catsofbluesky

A dilute tortie curled up on a blue and white bedspread like a model. She’s posed just so; tail curled just so, paws perfectly paired, and her chin tilted like the photographer from grade school posed her.

The Oops All Glitter line up. Gemini, Aquarius, Cancer, Pisces, Libra, Scorpio. They’re not painted over yet but yeah. The glitter went 💥

Six keychains that are suffering under the weight of their own magnificence. Veg tan leather scraps dyed with Angelus blue for the air signs and fiebings blue for the water signs. There is glitter everywhere in silvers and blues.

The camera isn’t doing these guys justice but Taurus, Capricorn, and Virgo.

Also, your hope may not be far fetched, I just can’t tell from the picture :/ Blick has paintable leather filler that I’ve used often and it’s amazing. It says small holes but… patience bridges gaps ;) I will stop info dumping now though 🤭

Angelus paintable repair filler for leather. It’s beige goop essentially. Smells awful.

Not sure if I like it or not… and even after updating, the phone camera changes the color so much

Belt pouch. A bit plain for now, but when the copper chaining arrives, the top flap will have chain on which the witch who will use it can affix his trinkets. #leatherworking

Brown belt pouch with a gem inlay. The flaps are of a medium-dark warm chrome tan, the bulk of the bag is a dark warm suede. The gem inlay was chosen by the client; I don’t know the type of gem, but it is brown and mottled with cloudy parts. The drawstrings are purple ecosoft, braided. Two belt loops stick up from the top.

Stretching is such a time consuming job. Like napping. And supervising. She’s overworked. #cats #catsofbluesky

This is Mei Mei, who is kinda a criminal and was dropped off in my yard at 5 weeks old and the vet had to wear chainmail to give her the first round of shots.

A dilute tortie who is pretty and knows it.

Making a belt pouch for a witch. Will post finished pics :).

I miss her so much. I still haven’t removed her cat bed from my workshop. Mei Mei won’t use it, either. She sometimes goes and sleeps next to it, still, though, which always makes my face leak a little. My Luna 😿 #cats #catsofbluesky

A Kersei pancake. How is it that his buttfluff doesn’t even look real? Also, my dog melted, I need a refund

A husky-border collie-Aussie mix, black fur, white socks, with intense butt fluff. He’s melted on the tile floor. His life is so taxing, you know? He has to be cute all the time, play tug and fetch, eat socks and puke them up, and do it all while being fed, groomed, and cuddled. So hard.

From just prior to the mothvasion. No idea what shocked her so terribly she’s just weird. #cats #catsofbluesky

A very surprised dilute tortoiseshell who is absolutely astounded by something no one else can see. Yes, she’s on the dining table. No, she doesn’t care if she’s not supposed to be. Yes, I’ve given up enforcing this rule. No, I never ever feed her chicken off my plate. Many truths and one lie….

Please share your joys! One of the folks I follow posted about playing in the rain and it was the silly grin I needed today! Picture for cat tax

Mei Mei, the dilute tortie, who loves your joy too!

Mine is so far off… I was born in rural western NY, lived half my life is central MO. Ive never been to CA, NV, or AZ. But I did watch a lot of British TV growing up, so 🤷🏻‍♀️. This was fun though :)

I’m starting to think she needs her own account. Just look at that face. I’d say she should be in the movies, but she would never cooperate. 🤣 #cats #catsofbluesky #caturday everyday

A dilute tortie feline with beautiful yellow green eyes seated upon a rainbow throw rug next to her Kong tunnel. Shes probably judging me. But she lets me take her picture so I say let her judge all she wants.

“But mom, you can’t have the pillows back! I’m using them all!”

This is crabby. Crabby has been her baby since she was a wee thing. When the dog came home for the first time and she hated him, she ran to save crabby before hiding. She hadn’t brought Crabby to bed since then. #cats #catsofbluesky Everyday is #caturday

Progress. I freehand most of my carving with a ball point stylus. It looks a lil janky because it’s not painted and this is incredibly thin (1-2mm) veg tan.

At Lilydale and saw this beautiful hibiscus type #flower So gorgeous and made my day.

A pink hibiscus flower in the sunlight with bright green foliage. The pink is darker toward the center and the petals are a crinkly texture. The flower is about 5-6 in in diameter.

#chickens are clever. I have surprise chicks from a well hidden nest between two feeders in the storage compartment. They’re so sweet. Momma is a frizzle named Baba Yaga. There’s six. Not pictured here is another brown striped baby.

Three day old hatchling chicks. Chicks of surprise, if you will. Momma is a black frizzle hen named Baba Yaga. Daddy is an Easter egger named Fabio. The chicks are black, black with a white dot, and then three that are cream to brown with racing stripes. Cuteness overload. Miss Frizzle, Baba Yaga’s sister, isn’t pictured but she is a doting auntie and is lurking behind the door here.
