I had one of those moments where I question reality today. For no particular reason, while going to my vehicle, I started singing "Heaven coming down" by The Tea Party. Haven't posted on here about it yet, but my home is evacuated for a wildfire again, just like the one that devastated it 8 years ago. It was touch and go, but we are being allowed to fly there. I will not be able to go directly home, though. Was a shitty end to an otherwise great con.

In today's weirdness: A random fucking ferret somehow got into my home and showed up in @zary.bsky.social's room, then proceeded to bite him. It must have crawled in through a pipe or vent or something. I've never seen a wild ferret so I wonder if it's someone's lost or abandoned pet?
