American Serenade, a modern riverboat, moored at night near the bridge to Illinois. My Canon L zoom lens shit the bed, so I had to settle for an f/1.4 50mm. The reflections of riverboat and bridge bloom in the slow-moving waters.

The spacecraft-like prow of the Grand River Center setting off for the Orion Nebula. In the distance, a railroad bridge and the hills of the Illinois corner of the Driftless Area roll on into the starry night.

It's hard for me to post pre-transition photos because when I started HRT, digital cameras were still mostly backs you installed on SLRs or thousand-dollar fixed-focus jobbies that you had to stick a floppy disk into. That being said, if you think you should transition, you should transition.

Today I channeled my inner Victoria Scott and had a photoshoot with my friend @strayzoey.bsky.social and her awesome, self-assembled, thoroughly customized Honda CRX. I'm too lazy for photoshop, here are some of the photos some straight from the card:
