i know zero about live production but every time i tune into a live novara media show on youtube their production seems super bad. you'll see presenters sit waiting for a clip to get played they mention, sitting their for 20-30 seconds as someone struggles to play something or bring up a screenshot.

just had a bit spoiled in #controlresonant because it was completely indecipherable what you were supposed to do. it tells you to jump off something but doesn't explain why, and doesn't telegraph what to do so i literally just fell through without aiming anywhere, not helped by goofy gravity.

@bradshoemaker.bsky.social you don't lock yourself out of content by killing an area boss. It just refreshes the enemies with harder ones and adds some new menial quests that aren't story content. All side quests are always available.

i think #controlresonant needs a more graceful solution to enemies falling off ledges in some areas because it's incredibly easy to accidentally cheese hard enemies and it's not a very satisfying way to end a fight.

ok one of the top mods for #controlresonant on nexusmods is a hide size slider for dylan, and yeah it's true i immediately found his model disconcerting when i booted the game for the first time, couldn't quite put my finger on why, but it was his head/neck proportions for sure.

im beginning to like dylan. i disliked him at first, he felt like an overgrown kid, but that's the point. he got caged as a kid and grew up in a cell. he's not experienced the outside world or been able to grow up, he has an innocent naivety that's off-putting but understandable #controlresonant
