Not sure how this passes for journalism, but if the best that they can do is to say that he has the audacity to fart in public, I would say this is a good sign that he is winning.

Whatever people’s stance on whether people should use AI or not, the accusation of AI use being used to delegitimize marginalized people was inevitable. This is precisely why I have been skeptical of surveillance as the solution.

I am not a parent which is perhaps why I am so confused as to how people who regularly impose their values on their children are suddenly up in arms about a Black family “forcing their politics” on their daughter by *checks note* deciding what school they wanted to send her to.

Thousands of immigrants did the hard, dirty work of clearing rubble and toxic dust and debris from Ground Zero. Many were undocumented laborers sent to work every day with no special PPE, and got cancer as a result. Now some of those same people are living in fear of ICE. www.npr.org/2026/09/11/n...

More evidence to support the argument that anti-trans activism will always come for the rest of the LGBTQ umbrella (and anybody else who doesn’t not conform to heteronormative ideals of gender). Throwing trans people under the bus will never protect the rest of us.

The problem with billionaires existing is that they become essentially off limits to corporately owned media outlets interested more in the bottom line than good journalism. This is also why the GOP defunded public media.

Despite what the media would like to convince us, people do not underperform polls. Polls underperform results and have done it so many times (especially since 2016) that there really is no reason to continue to consult them in determining electability.

I love how whenever polling is wrong (which is literally all the time) the discourse becomes “why did x candidate underperform?” as opposed to “why do we keep spending millions of dollars on polls that are literally no better than guessing?”

We really have no idea whether El-Sayed is more or less electable than Stevens. What we do know is that the Dem establishment was just taught that they ignore their left wing at their own peril, which is something the GOP learned long ago about their right wing. That is a victory in and of itself.
