I think Dia has got good potential. Players like him and Mohamed both need to be playing more to get used to the English game. Obviously a bit difficult given our position in the league. If only we had a reserve side to help out.

Definitely got some good potential and seemed to have a good attitude, I assume that's why we forked out, what? £1.25m on him? And there he is, developing his couch surfing technique at Bradford. I'd have rather we sent him to a mid-table League One side where he is more likely to get game time.

I hope we recall Hayden Matthews in January. It doesn't look like the poor lad has been featured in any of Bradford's League One squads, let alone the starting line up. Looks like we've taken loan advice from Spurs. Sending a prospect for game time to a club well stocked in that position #Pompey

Hang on, isn't there a big beautiful ocean in between the US and Iran? So why was he so worried about them that he started a war with them? He's a fucking moron.

I didn't realise Katie Hopkins had moved into German politics.

Don't worry, I'm sure a private equity firm will come in, pump loads of money in before asset stripping it to make more back and then sell it on to someone else.

Is it my favourite flavour? No Is it a very nice flavour? Absolutely yes. Gimme Häagen-Dazs vanilla all day.

I'm hoping Marezi is fit enough to start the next game. He looks better than Bishop, even after just coming back from an injury.

I have always said I thought Bielica was an odd signing when we had Bursik. Pissing away money needlessly which could've been spent elsewhere, even if it was a few hundred thousand.

Neil Tansley @neiltansley.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
Absolutely. There didn't seem to be any real drive or desire to counter attack them quickly and try and punish them, particularly in the second half.

Neil Tansley @neiltansley.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
Yeah we need him back to form asap. We don't want to solely rely on Swanson at RB.

Neil Tansley @neiltansley.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
I think Schmid having that run of games out of the side really helped him. Took away his complacency. Our prized assets seem to be our least impressive performers this season. Wouldn't drop Swanson for Devlin based on that sub appearance.

Neil Tansley @neiltansley.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
Yeah I agree. He was incredibly wasteful. Also wasn't impressed with Devlin when he came on.

Really frustrated that we couldn't capitalise on the player advantage. Would've kept RKM on over Segecic. I think Marezi should've come on earlier. Bailey looked decent. Good to see Anderson back, had a positive impact. We didn't play badly, but definitely something still missing. #Pompey

For me Marezi is so much better than Bishop. More likely to win battles with defenders and shows more desire to chase after the ball. If he hadn't just got back from injury, I would've started him today. #Pompey

I want to see us wind them up more. If I was playing, especially up top, I'd be winding their defenders up, mimicking them every time they complain.

Neil Tansley @neiltansley.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
Bragg is a fucking stupid defender. No Southampton fans can argue with his two yellow card offences. #Pompey

I'm hoping the team shows up today, makes it incredibly difficult for them and either grind out a draw or a plucky 1-0 win (Bishop in injury time)

After Reform, I suspect they'll either crawl back to Kemi, or crawl to Rupert. Though I hope they all end up in the political wilderness and lose their seats, especially Suella as she's my MP.

Trump is so old and has been president for so long that he managed to get the Egypt-Ethiopia war to end in 1876.

Neil Tansley @neiltansley.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
I would still back 2029. Assuming Reform starts to tank in the polling, it'll be interesting to see how Restore then do. I wouldn't be risking such a big majority needlessly if I felt I could do something with it before I was legally required to hold an election.

Much like Jenrick and Braverman, she suffers from PML - Power Memory Lapse. Even more amazing to think that they had a decent majority for quite a bit of that time too, so don't really have any excuses.

Borrowed Corbyn's magic money tree? Obviously as it's useful for the Tories, it's okay to be used.

Is this the same party who said Jeremy Corbyn's Labour were trying to fund their policies with a magic money tree?

I think I heard Jack the Ripper conducted an internal investigation of his own crimes and came to the conclusion he broke no laws.

Neil Tansley @neiltansley.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
She shifts the Tories more towards the policies of Reform, so in my mind there's no doubt she'd do a deal with Reform. You don't move your party more in the direction of one you wouldn't do a deal with.

Suella Braverman, happy to simplify how genders work, but wants to overcomplicate how nationalities work.

I do wish they've given Oli Dugmore more opportunities to speak. He always gets his point across well. His takedowns of Braverman were great.

I only pay 1% in currently because I'm aware I need to save for my pension, but there's no point if I can't afford living in the here and now. I'd also rather put any spare money into savings because then I have access to it in an emergency. Private pensions aren't particularly appealing.

Shame that she didn't choose to have a by-election after changing party. Though I'm sure there are enough racists in this area to vote her back in, rather ironically.

Ahh a man whose business is a Private Equity Firm, the cancer to all good economies. Tell you what, seeing as he hates this country so much, why don't we ban his company from having any stakes in companies operating in this country?

I guess the EU would have two options regarding the UK and Schengen. Either convince RoI to join it too, or accept it's not possible given the common travel area. Or I guess they could hope for a united Ireland.

Does anyone in Japan ask how things will be funded? Their debt to GDP is over double ours. We can always find the money, but make sure there's an economic benefit to it. Better NHS = fewer people off sick from work Better social care = more people back in work as fewer need to be home carers.

Neil Tansley @neiltansley.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
I instantly thought of Japan when I heard this. Bond markets don't think we're a risk to lend to, because we have the 5th biggest economy in the world. Same way as Japan has the 4th and the US has the biggest. If they see the economic benefits of investment, they won't panic.

Match it to the average increase in salaries so we then all feel like we're in it together. It takes away part of the divisiveness of the issue.
