For years I’ve wondered about this. Why are school children carrying so much load to and fro? In Guyana, it’s just school books. Don’t they have timetables to know which books to take when? And why backpacks? Why not a tote bag with wheels?

We watched a Turkish film (I’ve seen it b4 so half-watched whilst editing my writing). I read to Ma a poem by Afghan musician, Milad Yousufi, & we listened to him play the piano. Later, we listened to Duettino-Sull'aria (remember Shawshank?) Life w/ Ma. Wish I had more afternoons like this.

People see the finished book. They don’t see the days when your brain is fried from work, balancing family and writing, the uphill battle of marketing, and pushing through exhausting edits. They just see the end product. Writers know what it took to get there. #AuthorSky #BookSky

So!!! The Microsoft audio reading thingie on my laptop uses AI? And if I use it while double-checking my work (reading it aloud) the next thing you know, I’ll be accused of using AI to write my book? Fuhget. I will read aloud to myself.
