It's GREAT! I've never seen any chef use food to roast a guest before...

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 20h

I have known about it for many years and that is STILL what I hear. We have a Smeg kettle in our work kitchen! IT DOESN'T STOP.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 21h

🥰

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 23h

It was just stunning at every turn!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 23h

What a gorgeous flower!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 23h

I was supposed to be out jogging, but I kept having to stop so I could take in the views (and take photos!) properly!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

Little Women (작은 아씨들) continues to be riveting! I'm so impressed with the direction and cinematography - this is a show that has a lot of people talking and looking at screens and not doing much else, and it's still BEAUTIFUL to look at. Director Kim Hee Won is so great at building tension!

Family portrait style photo of the Oh sisters, played by Kim Go Eun (sitting down in a beautiful pale blue-gray suit and murderously high cream stilettos), Park Ji Hu in a fancy dark jacket over a light dress standing in the left, and Nam Ji Hyun in a black sleeveless dress on the right. There are fiery orchids out of focus on the foreground.

October is at its most beautiful today. #NayePhoto

Melting frost on long grass glittering like crystal, the low sun shining through dense yellow foliage, leaving the front of a red house in shadow.

Yellow birch and aspens against a perfectly blue sky.

Golden leaves overhead and ahead, the sky empty of any clouds between them.

Red spindle berries! Description from Wikipedia: The capsular fruit ripens in autumn, and is red to purple or pink in colour and approximately 1–1.5 cm wide. When ripe, the four lobes split open to reveal the orange seeds.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

It goes through an amazing range of fall colors! Spring it's a lovely green that deepens in summer, too.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

Color EVERYWHERE and I love it! Some of the many buds I collected are even unfurling a bit.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

Yeah, turns out plants really like to photosynthesize! 😆

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

Yeah, our dahlias got sun pretty much the whole day all summer! And it's sågspån för smådjur from the pet shop! You can buy similar stuff at plant shops but this was more convenient.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

What a cute little yawn!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

Winter is long but at least frost and snow make the world quite beautiful...!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

SMHI did say it was going to be 0°, but we're in a bit of a cold spot so I suspected it'd actually freeze. I've been taking some risks with forecasts of 2° and gotten lucky!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

Very very very glad I took the dahlias in yesterday - we had our first frost tonight! #NayePhoto

The top of a browning fern frond covered in frost.

A single yellow maple leaf landed on a red Japanese maple, their leaves all lightly frosted along the edges.

A pink rose coming apart, petals heavy with frost crystals.

A small orange maple leaf on bare earth, coated in frost.

Festivids is my favorite time of year!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

😂😂😂

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

I just heard about it this year and I still haven't had any.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

Good vibes!!!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

It looks like he's hovering!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

He is EXTREMELY cozy

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 18/10/2026

Rude!! Hope nothing is actually on fire...

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Yesss weekend! And the best time of year to have an excellent indoor project, too.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Suddenly it's an hour later than I thought and the timeline is... several seconds longer...? Whee!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

VIDDING! \o/

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Collecting blank books is a legitimate hobby! You never know when they'll come in handy!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Watching 작은 아씨들 Little Women and screaming in socialized healthcare and "has needed surgeries to live". I know about reality but at the same time what do you MEAN you let babies die and children grow up without proper healthcare?! ...so many of these shows would be much shorter if set in Sweden.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Excellent plans!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

That's an intriguing description! Thank you. Gonna put it on the list.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

(Is it tasty?)

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

That's HILARIOUS.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

It's so rewarding! And there are SO MANY kinds, just shopping for them is an entire experience in itself.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Look at that happy, clean wood!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Beautiful! After I got them gradually used to being outside and planted them, they needed absolutely no care other than the usual watering and some extra fertilizer to keep blooming! You can buy new ones if you don't want to dig them up and store them over winter, but it didn't actually take long.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

So pretty!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

I've noticed a few hiccups - one day I couldn't log in for a few hours, and another I couldn't add pictures (even link thumbnails) - but still worth it!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

TICKETS!! \o/

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

My seven dahlias are ready for winter! The tubers are in the cool, dark basement, snug in paper bags with wood shavings to keep them dry. And the flowers are all over the house, for the last time this year. Which means: Festivids time!

A huge bundle of tubers dwarfing my hand.

A peek into four paper bags with sawdust and the plastic flower tags the tubers came with so I know which is which next year. (The bags were closed for storage!)

A bunch of pale yellow and bright pink dahlias in a bucket.

A collage with nine squares showing dahlias in shades of apricot and pink in various vases and floating in a big bowl.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

... tickets???

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

WHAT. Why are you so cursed?

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Guys just pay your taxes so the government can invest in infrastructure. That's the actual solution here.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Why are they all such gullible dumbasses???

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

...wait it's the weekend I could start my Festivids timeline RIGHT NOW...!! (OR I could do chores and gardening first like a responsible adult. Which sounds boring but I do have quite the deadline: Winter is coming! Those dahlia tubers won't survive the frost!)

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Hope you have a delightful weekend!

We report: this is a kind of sky we see in autumn too. With the rain streaming down our face, and the sun in our eyes, we cannot even bring ourselves to put the hood of our jacket on. It feels like we should properly acknowledge our first rainbows of the season.

Digital painting of a rainy, dark grey sky with a double rainbow. The second rainbow is much fainter. There are autumn trees in the lower part of the frame.

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

It's never too late to get back into the game!

naye🕸️ @naye.eurosky.social · 17/10/2026

Ooh tell me why I should be excited and catch up with S1! (Other than Jang Nara, obviously, because: Jang Nara! 😍)

Migrating to Eurosky is also REAL nice if you like your personal data in a country with GDPR laws! But yeah that edit function is amazing.
