when people say you can't promote things on mastodon i gotta laugh. it's harder to build an audience, but it's way more engaged. i have almost 12k followers there, but my posts regularly outperform my 13k here also, mastodon's support *specifically* was crucial to kitsune tails' launch week success

Extra sidenote: I did read the entire thing and there's 1 obvious thing to remark. I fucking hate USA and the way they word stuff to avoid actually saying they're going to protect minorities. Who decides what protected characteristics are? Reads like "freedom of speech" from the far right.

Agradecemos que nos hayan comunicado su preocupación sobre la situación que están atravesando, pero debemos aclarar que las IPs bloqueadas pertenecen a un tercero, proveedor de servicios tecnológicos que está actuando como un “escudo” digital para una serie de sitios web involucrados en actividades ilícitas. Es dicho tercero quien tiene la responsabilidad directa de la situación que están enfrentando y, por lo tanto, deben dirigir sus reclamaciones a ese proveedor, ya que es quien está permitiendo que esta problemática persista.
No podemos pasar por alto que este tipo de proveedores ha sido señalado en múltiples ocasiones por facilitar la protección de plataformas dedicadas a actividades ilegales. La actitud complaciente de algunos intermediarios al permitir la operación de estos sitios demuestra una grave falta de acción frente a actividades delictivas, lo que agrava aún más la situación.
Entendemos su frustración, pero insistimos en que cualquier reclamo relacionado con el bloqueo de las IPs debe ser dirigido de manera inmediata y directa al proveedor intermediario, quien, lejos de frenar estas actividades ilegales, las facilita y perpetúa sin una intervención efectiva.
Agradecemos nuevamente su comunicación y confiamos en que podrán resolver este problema de manera rápida y efectiva con la colaboración del citado proveedor, quien es el único responsable de la protección y mantenimiento de estas redes comprometidas.
Adicionalmente, les informamos que, como consecuencia del uso compartido de direcciones IP por parte de este tipo de proveedores y existiendo conocimiento efectivo por parte de su compañía sobre su utilización para la difusión de contenidos ilícitos, desde LaLiga nos reservamos el derecho de ejercer cuantas acciones legales consideremos necesarias para la defensa de nuestros derechos e intereses legítimos, incluyendo la reclamación de las correspondientes indemnizaciones por los daños y perjuicios
