🎨Two pager for Jack's backstory is complete! Feat @kinggst.bsky.social's OC Rabbit #gachioc

A colored comic page showing a Viander's truck barreling down a road at night outside of Hole Town.
In panel two, there's a thunk on the roof from Jabber hopping on, and in the third panel he smashes his claws through the windshield, hitting Jack with the glass and sends items flying around the cab

A colored comic following the first page, showing the truck shredded by Jabber's claws and smouldering on the side of the road the next morning, with Jack crushed under the side mirror. Dialog reads: "Hey, isn't that a Viander's truck?" "Yeah, looks like the Raiders picked it clean."

Two others, Rabbit and Ivan, shine a flashlight at the viewer in panel 2. Dialog reads: "Yo! You remember anything?"

Panel three shows Jack on a blank background, activating their instrument, their cane Phoeniceus, while in a Cleaner's uniform. Dialog from the previous panel is continied: "... ...Givers sure are pieces of work, huh?"

🎨 #gachiakuta Do as I say, not as I...

A 3 panel comic of Riyo and Enjin in a No man's land

Panel one: Enjin with Umbreaker activated, yelling offscreen. Most of his face is obscured by his gas mask. "Riyo, stop! That one's too dangerous!"

Panel two: Riyo staring back at Enjin with a blank look, focusing on the scar on his neck.

Panel three: Enjin's real time realization that maybe almost killing yourself and keeping secrets from your kids might have been a terrible idea if you want them to actually listen to you

As someone who is openly trans, seeing Asmongold have his way so heavily in WoW is disheartening. He's openly mocking Blizzard with his shenanigans, basically daring them to try something, and they're afraid of him. It's quite frankly a black and white decision, and we see what side it's on.

i honestly think WoD and Legion had the best texture quality of any wow stuff. The new stuff has no texture, it's all so smooth. WoD/Legion was modern but kept the grit and texture and age of things. like this looks SO good. Compare to the housing. It's so flat and gritless.

She is holding the hands of the figure to the right lovingly. He is a death knight from WoW, dressed in a cloak and dark garbs, also smiling at the camera in a stiff but earnest fashion. 🎨Small thing specifically about Jack's relationship with their vital instrument #gachioc

An image of Jack, a Cleaner, looking solemnly at the ground with their cane surrounded by bright green anima. Text around them reads:

Jack has a complicated relationship with their instrument, Phoeniceus.
On one hand, it temporarily allows them more mobility and strength than they ever had... ...On the other they view it as a manifestation of their disability and chronic pain.

This manifests with Phoeniceus only temporarily blocking pain and injury, but wrecking them with recoil later on.

It's not helped by Jack having a complicated view on Givers due to their accident.

They used to view all Givers as dangerous.
Their ex still does.

May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies. May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism. This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs. Vaccinate your pets please.

Worries about vaccination rates in dogs
As rabies seems to be spreading more in wildlife, veterinarians are especially worried about vaccine hesitancy spreading among pet owners, a dangerous trend that could lead to more dogs - and their owners
- becoming infected. A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in nationally representative
sample of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism.

not to be a downer again but im really kinda getting a bad feeling with how much focus is on WoW Forever and not retail. Yeah transmog restrictions being gone is awesome, more housing stuff, wrath remix, a new game mode- it feels like a lot of what we got so far for retail isnt REALLY for retail.

a huge part of why im so conflicted on wow forever is like, yes, adding onto the old world and specifically for leveling with underutilized areas is a good thing and one they should have been doing all along- -but that should be in the main game, not a different one. it should happen on its own-

If I'm being honest, I REALLY don't like the idea of split timelines or major canon stuff not being in Mainline WoW. This feels like it will lead to an even more fragmented story. SoD's "found photos" angle made sense, but with Forever it seems like things that are WAYYYYY too consequential.

This 👇👇👇 🎨

💚 Your artist and designer friends probably aren't as full of themselves as you think.

Please remember: they share their work and accomplishments all the time as a matter of survival. No one else will be their hype man.

That grant? It's the only thing keeping them going during these slow months.

This flashy opportunity? They have been trying to make it happen for a year with only hope to keep them going and it's finally happening!

That exhibit? It's the only one they got into out of the 15 they submitted for.

That new painting they posted? They kinda need it to sell so they can pay the rent next month.

So be kind in your thoughts. Imagine if your job required social media presence on four platforms to make sure ends meet.

And if you see your friends or acquaintances post art that you like, please share it! It can make all the difference sometimes.

💚
