I created ligo.at to explore atproto and my personal use, and thought it would be cool to publish it. Don’t expect development to continue as it works for my use case. I should probably add a disclaimer to the home page.

Plus I haven’t had that much time to work on it. It it still in alpha (maybe beta already) but it’s been working great for me, and that’s all that counts. Slow life I guess.

5 months ago lmao I still think it would make ligo much more personal to have custom css, as well as make it more old school web which is the vibe I want, but I really haven’t prioritized it since the default css it’s the one I like xd

nice! some time ago I had a very similar idea. I compared it to the service gravatar where one could create different profiles but have a main record pointing to the current one.

`git pull` is the method I use in this project to get the latest sources, it could be ftp, rsync, etc... For my other project `imsendmail` I started building `.deb` packages that I then can install in my debian servers, could not be easier! github.com/marionauta/i...

Much of this is thanks to that uv re-syncs dependencies automatically when invoking `uv run`. And systemd (or your distro's init / service system) is very cool! What even is docker?

I was a hardcore believer of single binary, no dependencies for ease of deployment, but it turns out multiple files and dependencies are also easy to deploy. To deploy @ligo.at I just do `git pull` and `systemctl restart ligoat`. Even that last part could be automated with a hook I guess.

Just updated @ligo.at to use permissions, including its very own at.ligo.authFull permission set! The permission sets are cool because they let you add human readable title and description.

Would be very interested in a standard for link in bio lexicons, I'm building @ligo.at as a side project, mainly for myself. at.ligo.* lexicons are pretty much alpha state but I haven't changed them in months.

just stick with what you’re used to, if you want to try Arch you can try dual booting it, as it may get in your way with work

I also have another bot that messages me whenever there's a report in @waterfinder.org 👀
Two messages:

New good comment on 9653634517
The water is nice

New bad comment on 11971712477
Not working

Below each message there is a "Reports" and a "OpenStreetMap" button.

nauta @nauta.one · 15/12/2025
it works best when the message is plaintext but it is somewhat able to parse html and get its contents

wrote a "sendmail" unix command implementation that actually sends me a telegram dm
Screenshot:
cat email.txt
Content-Type: text/plain
Subject: this is a test
To: test@example.com

this is a test "email" or telegram message, really
./sendmail < email.txt

hey! I found this change a bit confusing, I kept clicking on the handle to try and go to the repo until I saw the pfp is a button too :/ maybe the handle button can be both account switcher and when it's the current account go to the repo?

This is the proof of concept. I just think some people won't know their handle ends in *.bsky.social or whatever.
Screenshot of ligo.at login page. Shows a text field to input handle and a continue button. Below "If you're unsure you can log in with..." and the following buttons: Bluesky, Blacksky, tangled.

nauta @nauta.one · 25/11/2025
yeah right now I have “log in with handle” and works perfectly, I just want to add that list of providers as a little ux improvement

nauta @nauta.one · 25/11/2025
What are the biggest / most popular PDS hosters / services besides Bluesky itself? Blacksky? tangled? I want to add "log in with xyz" buttons to @ligo.at's login page.

use a vps and not aws, that way your website will only be down based on your own incompetence

nauta @nauta.one · 18/10/2025
this comes from my dislike that many atproto services use bluesky's avatar by default and some don't even let you change it so this would be an open set of lexicons to specify avatars based on your handle, did, website? etc

nauta @nauta.one · 18/10/2025
Is anyone building a "gravatar" style service with atproto? Would you be interested? Does anyone even remember or use gravatar nowadays?
