My youngest sibling and I have watched a body being recovered in the park on our street. But I'm one of the lucky ones who have had a chance to surf the wave of "refinement". I am now the wave to caused this. 000

You let it wash over you because at least 2 of the offending businesses are creatively inspired. But I'll never know first hand. 000

I downsized by about 60% to stay in an area that means a lot to me. Feels infested by condescension. 000

The point of this part of town is that rich shitheads stay away. The gym charges $200 more a month than I pay to work out in the nice part of downtown. 000

One fine dining establishment offers a tasting menu 3 times more expensive than my go to steak dinner and drink at The Keg. 000
