Re: “people don’t bike in the winter”, let’s think about places where people bike more: the Netherlands, Denmark, Berlin, Paris. Not great weather Places in Southern Europe with great weather and no winter (Italy, Greece) don’t have large biking numbers It’s not the weather. It’s infrastructure

This is an issue in Alberta too. Wheelchairs and power wheelchairs are classified as walking and aren’t permitted in cycle tracks/bike lanes on the street. Alberta should change this law as well. It’s not enforced anyway! Bring wheelchair users into the fold of active mobility. 👍 #yycBike #yegBike

He reiterated how all he wants is for everything to be accessible only by car - "having options to walk, roll or use transit is just not fair - we need a balanced driver first approach." While the electric motorcycles masquerading as e-bikes are a problem, a much bigger problem is all the four wheel vehicles. The four wheel vehicles kill more people than two wheel vehicles, even if you allow for the variation in distance traveled.
