The kid did a good job. I may find Jack Black's singing to be a bit on the... goofball end of things, but it kicks ass that he's giving teens a chance to play in rock/metal concerts.

I still love the sign at a gaming store I went to: "Take the gamey out of gamer. Please shower." or something to that effect.

Separate taxes for each that can both be separately applied to the same vehicle. Along with specialized licensing to drive them with annual renewal.

When they said everybody was gonna get covid, it was not resignation. It was a statement of intent.

You have to make sure there's an intermediary that will be the fall guy to get debanked. Ask yourself: WWMSD? ( what would mawlee schah* do) *name misspelled to avoid searchers

I'd need to figure out the exact model, but I'm guessing that thing weighs 6000 lbs or so. Momentum is a motherfucker.

I'm glad she could bring you joy and that you could give her a loving home. Pugs are sweethearts, in my experience.

My dad came to visit and rented a Honda Accord. My head was pressed against the roof in the back seat. I am 5'7" tall. My aspect ratio is Wrong.

I continue to be happy to have a full desktop PC. I have a power button that tells the motherboard to boot/restart/shutdown as well as a switch on the power supply that fully cuts power to the entire computer. It's something I have, of course, had to make a point of continuing to upgrade as it ages.

Friggin' pugs. Extended family had one that wandered off the porch and needed surgery from the fall. It later joined the cyclops club because pugs have had the orbital socket bred out of them.

I was making potato and leek soup and the recipe asked for five potatoes cubed. Even for potato soup, 125 potatoes seems a little excessive.

I base this off doing pharma QC and am speculating here. Out of spec results on stability testing require notifying the FDA within a certain timeframe if you cannot find a root cause for OOS results that is not "this is a legit OOS"

Napoleon the Chemist @napochem.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
So... it looks like this was caught during stability testing based off of what I could find in some of the FDA reporting. Either there was a colossal fuck-up in manufacturing and initial release testing or stability testing got fucked up and they couldn't prove the results were invalid.

What do you think the odds are that Jane would consider it being in a bubble to be unfamiliar with Mettler Toledo's products? As an example relevant to my career but not to most.

Cattle need feed that needs water *on top* of the water the cattle need. Where ag takes place matters a lot. Arid and semi-arid environments are a poor choice for anything that needs much water.

They have *negative* incentive to use water efficiently. Use it or lose the water rights is the way the laws are written.

I saw frogs. Here's one of them. Likely relevant to @onegrenouille.myatproto.social's interests.
A brown frog resting on a branch in a pond that is covered in duckweed, a type of aquatic plant with many tiny round leaves that float on the surface of the water. A fallen leaf is floating near the frog.

Must be nice, not having chronic health problems. Probably someone with nothing rewarding in life, possibly fishing to get the new "no dogpiling" rule to go after a bunch of people just to feel something where their soul should be. They don't deserve the attention.
A screenshot of a skeet that has removed everything but the skeet text itself. It says:
"Guys, please stop with the "please clap" when you cook for yourself, get out of bed on time, do your laundry...

If your personal bar is that low, find some fucking hustle. I work my ass off. I'm not giving you high fives for the bare minimum."
