I drove to my hometown yesterday and stopped by the old Fun Park. In the 90s it was full of excited kids. Arcade, mini golf, bumper boats, batting cages, go karts.. Now, it's derelict—Reclaimed by nature. Seeing it now just reminded me how fleetingly special childhood is. Because we only get one.

A view of a fun park that was called 'International Pavilion' in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It's abandoned, with batting cages to the left, a moat filled with rain water, and a path that led to mini golf courses.

One of the mini golf lanes. Overgrown and nothing but dirt and rock where the putting green used to be.

Another mini golf lane, completely reclaimed by nature

The go kart area. All that's left is the roof of the structure that had dozens of go karts underneath it. Now just an old sign and stacked pallets. A lamppost to the left that hasn't lit up in years. Nature surrounds all of it.
