My 2 cents on the possible Fox trade to the Spurs: SA isn’t in a win now mentality. With or without Fox come February, it won’t get them deep in the Playoffs. They also risk losing very valuable assets (strong 2025/2026 draft or a Castle). (cont.)

The rule that the shot has to leave the shooter’s hand before the foul is beyond dumb. The play was very much alive when Wemby took that shot. It should always be: did the whistle occur before or after the shooter started his shooting motion. #NBAsky #PorVida

It’s time for the second edition of our annual top 10 riders lists. 🧵 The context: These aren’t your ordinary “best of 2024” lists. Our ranking takes into account the riders’ performances over the past year(s) & their potential to perform in the (near) future, more specifically in 2025. (cont.)

About time I introduce myself (part 2): I’ve been a big fan of the NBA since I was a little kid. Grew up with MJ but also with Dominique Wilkins & David Robinson as players I quickly liked. The SA Spurs have always been the team I rooted for. TD is my all-time favorite player.

About time I introduce myself: As a cycling follower (known as “Cyclingtakes” on X) I’ll focus my posts on youth cycling, race strategy, team functioning (structure, vision, strategy, transfers, communication, background, insights etc.), the future of the sport and its financing. (cont.)

When you sent a tip to the team’s scout and find out he’s on their Devo team 2 years later. Vamos Henrique (Bravo)! Proud as a man married to a Mineira 🇧🇷 #CyclingSky

If they did then Wemby would have easily won DPOY last year and Stephon Castle (who’s a gem on D and has been clutch vs the top teams) should be in the conversation for ROY. Give players and coaches a say in the awards. They live it day in, day out. #NBASky

MVP, DPOY or Rookie watch contributions from NBA journalists have very often been lacking and mostly take stats into account. You can’t tell me most of them properly watch a large number of games of all teams (as they should). #NBASky

Bob Cousy was once in Belgium for some type of demonstration and Willy Steveniers (best Belgian player ever), at a very young age, embarrassed him with a flury of offensive moves. Cousy was furious and ordered the kid to get off the court.
