It's a really cute self care app. It gamifies self care to an extent, but it also has a lot of anti-anxiety and other resources. Plus a small social element where you can send friends things like hugs, applause, or in-app gifts (like clothes for the little finch to wear).

When readers pay money for a genre romance novel, they pay their money for a story that will largely focus on romance and will, minimum, end happily for now. Otherwise, they want their money back. Small book stores take it in the teeth; Amazon does mean things to the author's royalties.
