im at the point where they may not even need to move, but the move would definitely end my problematic relationship with baseball, and probably sports fandom in general which maybe wouldn't be so bad! and there isn't a Cal Ripken walking through the door again after the lockout

it's certainly not everyone everywhere! and one of the weirdest things is that at every stop i've had a first-name-basis relationship with our carrier who consistently couldn't be kinder while doing a physically brutal and thankless job

ours got so bad there was community involvement to get answers as to why it is so bad and after 8ish months the investigation led to 2 employees who were identified as being routinely dehumanizing and cruel "reassigned" to another post office so our answer was it to make it someone else's problem

I'm usually sensitive to the larger dynamics (and am here, too) but after moving around and experiencing multiple baltimore post offices, this is one area where I find the experience with employees to consistently be predictably and actively hostile from the jump and you're just stuck with it
