There are always ways to keep hopes up - there are good senators and members congress elected. Around half of Brazil still chose against Bolsonaro. But damn it’s crushing to go back to a fascist rule again. So I guess I’ll feel bleak for the evening, and wake up to resist these fuckers tomorrow

I’d love to play a TTRPG to really understand faith and spirituality. I grew in a rather secular household (even if brazilian style secular), and I’m quite stranged to understanding faith as a religious person seems to feel it. It usually seems like a very sharp abandonment of rationality.

On the flight back home I watched Then, Sara Dosa’s Fire of Love. What a masterpiece. Miranda July’s beautifully eerie voice narrates one of such love stories that being depth to the whole world. And framed in the pursuit of awe, adventure and knwoledge - as well as thrill seeking.

While the analogy of APs <> Porn has been made by people who are sufficiently knowledgeable in TTRPGs, it strikes me as a very reductive view on both TTRPGs and sex - both at home or as performance, btw. So yea, not all performance is porn. And your home game could be rather performative.

I'm in awe with parenthood, day in and day in again. First child is having a rough time now that the idea of her sister sedimented. She's not angry at the baby, but super needy - and super demanding, particularly towards me. Either she's in my lap or she's crying, so there's a lot of juggling rn.
