Dear Political Media Outlets on all levels of legitimacy. Fight the urge to even mention Sen. McConnell's new statement and photo intending to prove he's alive. Only use it as inspiration to do the actual journalism that used to be done in this country and go get some proof of his current status.

Former Mets slugger Bobby Bonilla, pictured here, is set to get paid $1.193 million from the New York Mets today, as he will each July 1st through the year 2035. The payment was agreed to by the team, who in 1999 wanted out of the remaining $5.9 million on his contract.
