I just realized I never posted my old "Shizun-goggles" piece which puts SQQ in Sargent's Repose. I always imagined this was not what he really looked as he was napping in the Bamboo House but what white lotus LBH saw. #shenqingqiu #svss
![[ID: A Scum Villain Comic. The first image depicts a beast peak disciple Shen Yuan, who appears in his late teens/early 20s. His robes are primarily green and brown. His hair is pulled into a messy braid and he has a pair of silver glasses. He is holding a qiankun pouch with both hands and is covered in blood on his clothes and face. He says “Are you alright, Shidi?” The second image depicts disciple Luo Binghe, who is presumably looking towards SY with a blank yet flustered expression. He has a lot less blood on him in comparison. He answers “Never better, Shixiong”, with a thought bubble behind him that states “Hope this doesn’t awaken anything in me”. ![[ID: A Scum Villain drawing. Plant!Yuan and Luo Binghe (both around ages 10-12) are sitting on their knees in a bamboo grove. Shen Yuan is cradling a demonic butterfly in his hands, the largest of the three around him, looking towards Luo Binghe with a slightly nervous but reassuring expression. He says “It’s okay! She’s friendly!” Luo Binghe eyes the butterfly with an unsettled/nervous expression, clutching his robes in his lap. A box above him states “Is actually jealous, not scared.” End ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:cabswn7uzpjo6p756vkmkiis/bafkreia3t2sxetakjp6bp2r34ineqhnlux2ectakol3gcgzd7typf2hgvy)
![[ID: A Scum Villain Comic. First panel shows a 17yr old Luo Binghe with his protagonist halo shining behind him. He has one fist raised up and clenched in determination, a bright closed eye smile as he says “Bye A'Yuan! Bye Shijie! I need to go train for the Conference!” One of Shen Yuan’s demonic butterflies resting on his ponytail. The next image shows Ning Yingying, smiling and waving goodbye to him and saying “Have fun A'Luo!” with a butterfly on her shoulder. She also has a purple flower earring and a red ribbon tied around one of her wrists. Next to her is Plant!Yuan, with a very flushed look and sparkles around him, his hair sprouted peach blossoms going “Mhm…” with his largest butterfly in his hair. ![[ID: A Scum Villain Comic. This continues to the next page where SY with a more nervous expression goes “Jiejie I think I’m dying.” NYY looks at him with her hand slightly down and a questioning look. The last image is in a chibi style with NYY comforting SY who has buried his face in his hands as she says “I don’t think that’s it didi…” End ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:cabswn7uzpjo6p756vkmkiis/bafkreidbdszyxkdotuaquwv574ad2rzs5jawinzc2ceeboyck6y7hpwyhi)
![[ID: A Scum Villain Comic. The first image depicts Plant!Yuan excitedly looking at and holding a book that has his demonic butterfly resting on the edge of it saying “Binghe, have you heard of the Iron-Shelled Muskrats? They’re said to have near impenetrable skin and live in the deepest depths of the Abyss-” End ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:cabswn7uzpjo6p756vkmkiis/bafkreiazi2zu3zwosva7mtpaxgl6t7gwrqgj2byohzj4cepignkwr5p7ku)
![[ID: A Scum Villain Comic. Image two depicts Luo Binghe resting his head on one of his hands and looking presumably towards Shen Yuan with a soft love struck expression. One of SY’s butterflies rests in his hair. SY continues in the background, sort of faded out with text saying “Blah, Blah, Blah, place name…backstory stuff… ” End ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:cabswn7uzpjo6p756vkmkiis/bafkreifpdbmndy7ml4zw6hmjeearw5owlmc6ccg6gttxrrhkaqo6dwz7gm)
![[ID: A Scum Villain Comic. Characters drawn in chibi style. The top half depicts Plant!Yuan, now with an angry expression, gesturing out with one arm causing his butterfly to move out of the way. He rants “Oh, that reminds me, you will not believe this novel I just read. The writing was so awful-” LBH continues to look at SY the same way as the comic above, with a thought bubble above him saying “I would die for you”. The bottom half depicts Shang Qinghua, pausing in surprise before taking on a concerned/dreading expression and saying “Something just happened…. A caption points to him saying "Author of said novel.” End ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:cabswn7uzpjo6p756vkmkiis/bafkreig5tombhnvsjr2yhstzx2tcmjllt4wmuj7hjuome3a7xzfqwpyrxm)
![[ID: A Scum Villain Drawing. The first image depicts Xin Mo Sword Spirit! Shen Yuan with his arms floating behind his back as he winks presumably at Luo Binghe with a smile as he says “Don’t worry! You’re Luo Binghe! You can’t lose.” SY is dressed in primarily reds and blacks with some gold and silver accents. His robes are open at the shoulders, dip slight far into his chest and have high slits up his legs. He has red eyeshadow under his eyes and has various red markings on his forehead and body. He has long black hair, primarily loose with some tied up into a tiny bun and a couple braids. This hair is tinted red on the ends. The bun is held with a sharp silver hairpin with red gems and ombre effect. He has an etheral red glow to him, implying he is not 100% corporeal. ![[ID: A Scum Villain Drawing. The second image depicts Chibi! Luo Binghe/Bingge gripping onto Xin Mo with both hands as he presumably looks up at SY with a heart eyes, flushed and somewhat flat expression. He is covered in various amounts of blood. ![[ID: A Scum Villain Drawing. The top half has Plant!Shen Yuan and Luo Binghe at about 10-12 years old. SY kneels on the floor laughing with his sleeves rolled up and hair pulled into a ponytail. LBH sits with his legs slightly leaned in front of him, bringing one fist up to his own face slightly as he looks at SY with an enamored and equally amused expression. The two of them and the floor are covered in flour, with various bags of flour behind them. The bottom half shows Chibi!Ming Fan with his hands on his hips, looking presumably at the two of them with a nervous/concerned expression as he thinks “Welp. Shizun’s going to kill me.” End ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:cabswn7uzpjo6p756vkmkiis/bafkreiba3mwqluifiau5mt4pkxptc5linhldr7hvyivcbhesewgyhp4oiu)
![[ID: A Scum Villain Drawing. Plant!Shen Yuan is light teal and white mourning robes and his hair tied up similar to a style Luo Binghe preferred looks on sadly, a hand coming to rest of the necklace pouch containing the shards of Zheng Yang. He is shrouded slightly in darkness. He is looking at a faint memory of his younger self (~10-11) laughing brightly as he’s being pulled along by LBH. LBH has a hold on SY’s hand, his smile is visible but his eyes are obscured by his hair. They are both running towards a bright light. SY’s main demon butterfly flies behind him.
