Bright side of the day: my meds are half the price under my new insurance! Will save me $40 every 2-3 months so I’ll take that!

Home and in bed, going to try and unwind my brain a little before I try and sleep. Waking up early to work a little bit and then heading over to help again. Still on for my vaccines tomorrow as well, I have two alarms set and it is definitely happening!

Hopefully we can take as much other stuff off their plate as possible cause this is not going to be an easy process for them on top of mourning.

Step-siblings other parent passed away very unexpectedly, there’s going to be a lot going on for the next couple days. Thankfully I can take time off with bereavement leave to help watch the kids for them. I’m on duty to run errands just as soon as I get a list since everyone is driving in rn.

Outfit turned out great! And the hair/accessories worked perfectly too, really happy with it. The ren fest is way more busy than anyone thought it would be, I just know it’s gonna be bigger next year since people have shown their interest ✨

Hmmm, possibly dipping the bottoms in chocolate and then crushed graham crackers? This may have to be on the list to try soon.

Honorable mention to this quirky & quite tasty 7 layer bar macaroon recipe. Definitely the superior version of the macaroon and yes, I do still dip the bottoms in chocolate, because why not?? Also been meaning to try a variation with graham cracker added 🤔 www.layersofhappiness.com/7-layer-bar-...

And last but not least: my favorite snickerdoodle recipe! I highly recommend it, they are not boasting when they say it’s the best. This is also the recipe I used as the base for my apple cider snickerdoodle variation 😋 thefoodcharlatan.com/my-favorite-...

A lovely glazed lemon cookie suitable for all year round! My family loves these whenever I make them. Sometimes I’ll add just a smidge more flour and use cookie cutouts when I’m feeling fancy.

I know, why will they not give us this one thing??? Im excited, I’ll still take pics and share when/where I can! It will be fun to have my hair all down and decorated, hope it’s not windy tomorrow or it’s gonna be an unholy tangle on this headband thing 😆

Mythplaced_Logic @mythplacedlogic.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

The sleeves aren’t super comfy but they fit under my short sleeve dress without messing up the lower neckline and cover my arms for warmth. They’re meant to be for sun protection 😅. Whatever works!

Outfit for tomorrow is ready! -black leggings/ankle boots that I already owned -forest green peasant dress -leaf/flower headband/earrings -black hooded cloak -belt w/pouches to hold phone/money Also found these sleeve things that are just sleeves connected by a piece of fabric cause its chilly.

Totally agreed, but I’m also socially awkward enough that if it’s important, I will call specifically because I’m worried that I’m missing context in the text convo or they will misinterpret what I’m saying via text/written word. We just can’t win 😭.

Also, just a PSA that you should always wash costume type clothing if at all possible before wearing (hand wash is quick and won’t destroy delicate stuff). I’ve heard people say they don’t really bother but a lot of dye came out of my dress/cloak when I did, you don’t want that on your skin.

One of the best parts of this show is how great all the supporting characters are, it doesn’t take away at all, it adds so much. Very difficult to do and they absolutely nailed it.
