The boys appointment went well all things considered. The vet said they are “overall very healthy” with exception to Sushi developing some gum health issues so he wants him to have a cleaning as soon as we can, and ofc Sammy’s weight.

I honestly think going to the vets office is just as stressful for me as it is for the cats. I hate it. It’s always a big expense, even just for checkups &shots. The cats get so anxious that I get anxious too. & I usually feel like a bad pet parent by the time I leave for one reason or another.

I even tried taking a “vacation” to visit my mom, only to end up with a GI flu that left me so severely dehydrated I almost had to go to ER. I don’t think my body even knows how to rest anymore. 🫩 Lil by lil tho, I am catching up on things, so bear with me. 🙏

I don’t know that I can consider it gen-Z at all. The creator of FNAF is in his late 40s. Pennywise originated in the 90s. Chucky is from the 80s. I think a big part of the horror genre is the subversion of expectations, including mundane or “wholesome” objects & experiences being the source of fear

I truely believe there is no such position as “centrist”. There is no reality to a central or balanced political position when it compromises basic freedoms, dignity,autonomy, & human rights. “Reaching across the aisle” means nothing if it’s just stuffing that hand into a meat grinder

Work on practicing what self regulation methods you can to sooth your anxiety. This could be as simple as box breathing, or really anything that helps calm you when you feel tension rising.

My uncle currently has it the worst, he’s also got the most reckless health though too. When severe, yes it can cause blindness, both temporary & long term, however, it doesn’t appear from what I’m seeing (not a dr) that yours is anywhere near that severe currently. And yes your body will reabsorb
