What a fantastic day at West Bank Park Summer Fair on Sunday! Thank you to our amazing volunteers, Rachel (pictured) and Mary, who brought so much enthusiasm to our stall throughout the day. We raised over £200 in just three hours! Thanks to all who made it such a success.

Big thank you to everyone who made York Pride 2026 so special. We spoke to around 100 people about the work we do and raised nearly £200, enough to support two new befriending connections for people living with sight loss. Extra thanks to our brilliant Knit and Natter group.

Just before we closed for Christmas, our Chair Exercise group’s festive celebration included a fantastic milestone. Xercise Fitness Haxby was officially awarded Sight Loss Friendly in York status through our Community Connect project, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. (1/2)
