🎉 Essex Sight Loss Council is celebrating five years of driving accessibility and inclusion across the county. From improving rail travel and healthcare access to award-winning arts projects, volunteers with lived experience of sight loss have helped create positive change across Essex.

Lived experience creates change. Hampshire SLC recently met with Hampshire County Council to share their experiences of bus travel with sight loss. Through discussion and practical activities, they helped staff better understand accessibility barriers and how transport can work better for everyone.

🚗 Self-driving cars are no longer science fiction. Sight Loss Council volunteers recently met with Wayve and Uber to discuss accessibility, safety and inclusion, before experiencing the technology for themselves. Lived experience must help shape the future of transport.
