My new cat, Stormie 2, ignored me for most of the day for 2 to 3 months. Now she lets me pet her between the hours of 7 PM and 9 PM. Just tonight she let me pet her past 9 PM but that’s it. She has her limits.

What were the rents on other units in your apartment complex or building? Mine were about $150 less the last time I renewed, but yet they wanted to charge me five dollars less. I don’t get it. Why wouldn’t you give a current tenant the same deal as you give somebody new?

They do understand body language for sure. My dad trained his dog to follow hand signals. To show off to his friends, he gave a verbal command, which the dog would ignore, instead the dog would obey the hand signal my dad was secretly giving. That he would make a joke about how dumb his dog was.

we had a family dog that intensely disliked one of my sister‘s friends when we were young adults. He would bark at him whenever he came to the door. Turns out later on that that guy got fired for being an abusive cop. Coincidence?

I read an article where they suggested that hybrid batteries could be reused to store electricity for solar. This would be great if it were true. The batteries are not completely dead they just can’t do their thing in a car.

My hybrid battery took a dive after I reached 110,000 miles which I thought was very sucky. It cost me $4500 to replace the battery. Given that my car was over 10 years old, may have something to do with that, but it’s still sucked.

It’s also like when you become a woman over a certain age there’s also kinds of ads that pop up all over the place that are related to aging, medicating, and dating. How do they know how old I am? I do try to turn off cookies whenever I can, but I’m not sure that helps that much.

There’s something to your statement. I was going into Whole Foods and a notification popped up on my phone that Whole Foods welcomed me. So I’m thinking they’re going to charge me based on what they think I can afford. PS I turned off the notifications and tracking - will that work? I don’t know.
