Sure do hope I’m doing alt text right.

If my client doesn’t like what I drew, I might cry.

AI generated black and white rose with stem and leaves. It makes no sense. Petals are folding into themselves, the leaves and stems have lines that connect to nowhere.

I think that saying this in his face, knowing what we know, is some real bravery that should be emulated by more people in positions of leadership. I know words are cheap and you cannot shame trump, he is a monster, but it is good for us, the little people, to see this occasionally

I am genuinely having a hard time finding compassion for folks who get scammed by products that are obviously AI...The crystal mugs? The fake couture dresses? Really? Y'all need your wallets taken away.

I am brooding over how big a red flag it is for an artist or writer to single out anyone who comes to a reading or a book signing and begin DMing them personally/inviting them out after the fan expresses adoration for their work. The power differential is SO big, and the potential for abuse extreme.

✨ I'm hosting a secret Valentine's exchange in my Discord server 👀 There aren't any limitations to what you can create, so this is open to visual artists, writers, poets, musicians, etc. The deadline for filling out the form in the Discrod is Jan 15th discord.gg/aArU8MYavX

Coming out of my social media hiatus to inform y'all that a new artist is guest spotting at the tattoo shop and I decided to do some sleuthing. Pretty sure I found his Tumblr and he makes some quality Homestuck and Transformers filth. I think we'll vibe.

I am ridiculously proud of this book and would like more people to read it. It's a collection of three long pieces of fiction. CLOSING COSTS and the award-winning ONE FOR THE ROAD were previously published, but the brand new short novel THREESOME is one of my very favorite things I've written.

It's such a beautifully horrifying creature design. And the concept of it, how it manifests and destroys you from the inside out, is probably one of my favorites.

my brother you’re looking at the people you chose to follow

posts from a guy upset bluesky is only showing him “huge accounts”

Looking down my timeline. ALL I’m seeing are these huge accounts. I fear smaller accounts just aren’t being seen.

90% of posts I am seeing are from accounts larger than 20 thousand. One was an account with 37 followers

Same! There was a period of time there people would RT just to twist my words around or they'd threaten me in DMs. Even on innocent seeming posts. Bluesky encourages actual community which is nice. Hope it lasts.

Wearing a costume isn't an endorsement. I don't judge people who dress like Art the Clown or Freddy Kreuger either. It's not real.

It’s late, but I wanna say that my cat Juniper is such a great familiar cat. I was doing some spellwork that was emotionally draining and he chirped right in my ear and curled into my lap. Bestest boy. #witchsky
