Anyone know what's going on with this huge line of trucks holding up traffic on 35S? It was a full minute of trucks before I started recording. They're being escorted by an Anoka Cty sheriff going slow at the front. Not letting anyone pass. Some trucks are honking.

35N right now. Minnesota fall color traffic heading north already terrible at 10am. Crawling at Forest Lake with 2 hours to go 🍂🍁😭 Nothing worse than slow traffic going north and southbound is actually worse at the moment for some reason...

Beautiful. Tedeschi Trucks jam with a sarod. The sarod is fretless instrument from northern Indian classical music. Derek Trucks famously studied Indian classical music. It heavily influences his slide playing. You can clearly hear that in this song.

Whoa. Gary Clark covering my favorite Jimi Hendrix song, Power of Soul. Rarely hear anyone cover it in its entirety. Best intro ever. It has like 6 sections. Also my favorite Hendrix lyric "Flotation is groovy. Even a jelly fish will tell you that." 🪼🎸

Keb Mo & the legend, Taj Mahal. Taj is 84 years old and still rippin. Keb Mo plays the blues you need for when you have the blues. It heals. Keb Mo was one of the first concerts I ever attended. Opening for Bonnie Raitt at the MN State Fair in 1997.

Tommy Emmanuel opens with a Beatles medley that just doesn't stop... The audience is loving it so much they start singing the lyrics to the songs. Tommy is a beast. Maybe the best fingerstyle player alive.

I am being informed that oil change at a shop has been about $100 average for awhile 🤷‍♂️ Insane. It's been years since i've had my oil changed at a shop. Either way, expect whatever you've been paying to almost double by winter.

Stocked up on motor oil before the coming price hikes. Busiest oil aisle I've ever seen at Walmart lol. Shelves are not full. Premium full synth brands sold out or almost I do my own oil changes so I'm good but those already $80+ ridiculous oil change shop prices soon be $125+. Just FYI!

Watching Tedeschi Trucks Band and it's impossible to not be on the verge of tears from the overwhelming sublime beauty this band is capable of producing. Susan's voice and Derek's playing is unmatched. One of the most powerful bands on the scene today.

One of the better covers I've heard in a long time. Sierra Hull and Marcus King beautifully haunting cover of Tears For Fears "Mad World" Wait for Sierra's mandolin solo at the end. Easily the best solo of the night. Beautiful playing. God damn 😍

The show has been really good so far. But the real monster players have not even come out yet. It's only gonna get better and better. They're keeping the lineup scheduling a secret and just announcing from the stage so gotta keep watching.

It doesn't line it up absolutely perfectly with the phone screen but good enough to be useful. You'll have to test it by looking at something easily identifiable like venus or jupiter, or the moon to see where it shows them on your screen compared to the sky then you'll get a good feel for it.

There are absolutely drones up there. I've been monitoring. I see them practically every night in the same areas. They are rarely stationary for long tho. Stay tuned. I will have some very cheap handheld devices built in next few weeks to ID drones up to 5 miles away and will share info. For real.

Chromatic scintillation from binary star, Sirius. Sometimes so intense you'd swear it a UFO. Depends on atmospheric conditions but it can look unreal. You're not alone. It has tripped ppl out for all of history. Next time you spot it use Stellarium app, point camera at it, it'll identify it via GPS

That is Sirius. Brightest star in the sky. You can verify by finding Orions belt and drawing an imaginary line to Sirius. In the autumn months it shimmers and shines at its brightest. It is kinda wild. It's technically 2 stars very close together which makes the shimmering even more intense.

Yea I didn't know the level of horror that happened until I went to the Hinckley Fire Museum for first time over the weekend, bought the book and finished it in 2 days. You'll get thru it fast
