Anyone know what's going on with this huge line of trucks holding up traffic on 35S? It was a full minute of trucks before I started recording. They're being escorted by an Anoka Cty sheriff going slow at the front. Not letting anyone pass. Some trucks are honking.

Beautiful. Tedeschi Trucks jam with a sarod. The sarod is fretless instrument from northern Indian classical music. Derek Trucks famously studied Indian classical music. It heavily influences his slide playing. You can clearly hear that in this song.

Keb Mo & the legend, Taj Mahal. Taj is 84 years old and still rippin. Keb Mo plays the blues you need for when you have the blues. It heals. Keb Mo was one of the first concerts I ever attended. Opening for Bonnie Raitt at the MN State Fair in 1997.

Watching Tedeschi Trucks Band and it's impossible to not be on the verge of tears from the overwhelming sublime beauty this band is capable of producing. Susan's voice and Derek's playing is unmatched. One of the most powerful bands on the scene today.

One of the better covers I've heard in a long time. Sierra Hull and Marcus King beautifully haunting cover of Tears For Fears "Mad World" Wait for Sierra's mandolin solo at the end. Easily the best solo of the night. Beautiful playing. God damn 😍

2 yrs ago. Strong aurora hit during a full moon. The bright moon is almost always an aurora killer unless the aurora is super strong like it was here. If conditions are perfect, it turns into the best natural lighting for pictures. Check out the upside down 💚 heart in 3rd pic.

I didn't have time... I should've tried. I'm going back in November for a conference and will check some of them out if possible although that's a little late in the season for best Milky Way pics. I will for sure be revisiting in the future. More waterfalls and lighthouses are on my wishlist.

Bortle 1 sky (rare, darkest light pollution rating) hits hardest at high elevation It was so dark that I was able to use the Milky Way as a backdrop w just my phone camera 🌌 Brockway Mountain, Copper Harbor, Michigan. Last Friday. 700ft abv Lake Superior Scary drive back down in the dark lol 😬

Lunar Eclipse on the first day of the 2026 Minnesota State Fair First time in 167 year history that a lunar eclipse visible during open hours It wasn't until after doors closed that I had idea to take these pics. A friendly security guard escorted me back in!

Alley between 1st Ave & 2nd Ave in downtown Minneapolis. This was the loading dock behind Prince 90s nightclub Glam Slam. He filmed "My Name Is Prince" 🎬 here Glam Slam turned into The Quest. I waited in this alley to catch countless rock stars leaving the club after shows in early 2000s
