it seems to be Autumn! Signs of the times in these photos… #autumn #fall

6 pumpkins line the steps to a home. On the porch are two boxes, the bottom one with orange coloring and a jack-o-lantern style smile.

Fluffy clouds above an autumn field and forest.

Between two green trees in the foreground are very colorful - red, orange and yellow - trees in the distance.

We bicycled more than 40 miles today. It was a challenging day with lots of natural and human-made beauty. #bicycling #holiday

An ornate church building with steeples stands beyond a placid body of water.

Puffy clouds hover above a body of water.

I'm thrilled to be working on a composition for an album on Andrew Hartshorn's Monochrome Motif label with three other superb composers. The themes will be "elements" and my chosen one is earth. While walking the dog this morning, I "heard" more drums […] [Original post on mastodon.world]

The sun is rising through the trees of a forest and just above a fence. Sitting on the ground just to the right of the sun is a wooden bench. In the foreground a brown dog is moving towards the sun.

Not quite ready for this week to start. We’re expecting a heatwave and that’s not my thing. 2nd, I am still working my day job for another 6-1/2 months. I’m trying to hold my head up there. I want to just sit at my piano or record/compose in my studio all week. Hang in there, everyone! We got this!

Heading home today from an amazing experience of improvised dance and music. There is deep goodness in many of us. May it win the day.

The sun rises through clouds over a lake.
In the foreground is a rocky shoreline.
Just beyond those rocks the smooth water is broken by the incredibly rare Rock Seal of CNY (Central New York State, USA). Sighting confirmed by Sean Shenanigans, noted hystarian.

Hey, friends: I’m with my family - most of the time with my parents - this week. Due to time zone and focus, I may be very slow to respond here. Thanks for understanding!

Six tiny figurines of children playing various musical instruments stand in an uneven row across the top of a lacquered wooden chest. The drawers in the chest (only the top two are partly visible) have ornate, brass handles. Behind the figurines is a book cradle with a large book in it.
