a keroro gunso commission for @ninjakarkki.bsky.social i made a few weeks ago and am appropriately coincidentally posting today, at the start of the anime's new reboot airing...! so nostalgic to me, i was in this fandom in the late 2000's .....

idk what happened............ maybe my EF airbnbs internet just sucked ass.. waaah...

hope to see everyone in next EF though, i'll be applying there again and im hoping to make a new comic there too <3<3

ahh i hadnt posted about this yet bc it took so much time to get over it - my submission to 2027 NFC's dealers den never went through :( so i wont be in malmö next february. i was so bummed out!! this has never happened with a con app before but its more common than one thinks apparently :,)

super understandable. it really has to be a scarred wound rather than an open one to be able to talk about it. opening up processes that arent yet finished for strangers is very risky ... ive been already making comics about it so eventually there will be more. looking forward to reading yours!

lmfao this gengar page is currently very very. very relatable, thank you for sharing... some day i can also make a zine about this but its not today.....! but seeing this fills me with gumption that some day i might

it's been a tough year, but working hard for myself has been the best part of it. i'd work this hard again, & again. & i will continue to be furious for myself & for my loved ones for being denied HRT & gender affirming surgeries due to us being fat. fuck you. we can transition without you

muura karu @muura.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

i saved up myself to get gender-affirming care after being denied free healthcare due to my BMI. instead of losing weight & agreeing on top surgery terms i dont agree with, i chose to affirm myself as an artist, make and publish two comics, do 17 different events, & make so many new friends for life

FA regardless of your personal feelings, is the core of the fandom and losing it would mean YEARS AND YEARS of art, messages, pages, and memorials for people that have passed, would be gone. We CANNOT allow ourselves to rely simply on sites like bsky, twitter, insta, etc. etc. to be our defaults.

her outfit is also a insp / mix of these two outfits from the anime...!

a moon-themed legendary that knows a moon healing move, two dessert treats... two moon stone evolving pink things, one being a rabbit, and one knowing moonlight... and a lazy pink creature........ the slowpoke is her soulmate... she's holding a heal ball because she just wants pokemon as her friends

i'm being nostalgic of sailor moon and pokemon both currently, so this is just the obvious trajectory. her team is cresselia, swirlix, wigglytuff, cleffa, slowpoke and alcremie. i want to draw the rest of the girls too

what a great opportunity to remind people that comicfury & cartoonists united exist, that comic artists are still thriving outside the app-ified ecosystem, and that everyone should make compilation PDFs so their comics don't depend on platforms that do not respect creators OR readers. #creator_txt

i love having a website, websites as portfolio, websites as art projects themselves, you can make one for yourself, you can pool resources and make one as a group, you can do whatever. it's extremely satisfying to build your own house!

girldick by camille auer is one of my favourite zines from a local zinester... she speaks on internal issues that are still prevalent in queer communities despite this zine being from 2015, and she speaks on them without dulling her teeth about it. read them for free here camilleauer.com/girldick

the government mandated zine about top surgery is really funny to me, and i will also never stop reading these zines no matter how many there are. this one is particularily informative about the process if you happen to also be from the states microcosmpublishing.com/catalog/zine...

he has a phone! thank you everyone for helping. things are moving on hopefully

0170

JACE HAS BEEN FOUND in a hospital in Queens, NY. US people we need help getting him a phone, FIN people we need help organizing a protest. msg translibraryhelsinki @ ig if u can help with either

03325

this is copypasted from translibraryhelsinki's post in ig and from people who are working with jace's people to find him

030

We have an active group of people calling, emailing and working with different organisations to try find Jace. If you want to be added please DM translibraryhelsinki @ instagram or srowanc @ telegram and we'll get back when we can.

131

We have contacted both departments, with no answers. Jetflite, who fulfilled the ambulance flight, say they have no idea about anything &cannot give us any more information. So, where is Jace? How can the US Embassy not know who is responsible for their citizens on the end of a deportation flight?

The US Embassy in Helsinki, who signed off on official documents related to US reception arrangements, cant tell us who the ‘designated program / partner’ is that was supposed to be receiving Jace in NewJersey, in collaboration with The USDepartment of Health&Human Services&OverseasCitizenServices.
