The image is of a four panel comic.
In the first panel, we see a pair of ghosts. The first ghost says, “Let us make love, my darling.”
In the second panel, we see see the second ghost’s face, blushing. It says, “Here? In public?”
In the third panel, we again see the pair of ghosts together. The first one says, “No one can see us, we’re ghosts!”
In the fourth panel, the title reads “the cat”. We see a cat looking up at them.

So many men just blatantly don't love or care about their children or partners and deserve to be a lot more divorced and paying child support

I love paper, actually. Beautiful stuff. It loves you back, unlike a QR code, which secretly wishes you dead.

haha i wish I had that kind of money! kinda sad to see the collections busted up and sold to the four winds but that's just what happens unless you have a family member with the same flavor of crazy to take it all 🤣😭

It ALMOST feels like we’re just starting to reach the normies with “the federal government and Silicon Valley have joined forces to spy on every aspect of your life and it’s called Palantir” and it’s either going to be the turning point for radical privacy or cripple the concept forever.

DVDs aren't low-tech. They're just things you can actually own, that won't disappear overnight, that don't require a monthly subscription, that won't suddenly get reedited, that won't start putting adverts in the middle and that won't sell your data to the worst people in the world.

The very first line is a lie, and we all know it. *None* of this was ever designed to help us, which is why it hurts us and we hate it. It really is that simple, but the media simply cannot bring themselves to say it.

He was too young when he died but at least he passed in his own home and was found soon after by a friend who was staying with him. Having bipolar disorder and a severe physical condition and NOT ending up in a facility in the 90s is something at least.

Nice to have a citation for the stuff we all sort of assume to be true but question if it's just our own biases making it look that way
Screenshot from the article in the quoted post, saying "Piff and his colleagues found that upper-class drivers were more likely to cut other cars off at junctions and ignore pedestrians at crossings. Wealthier people also appeared more willing to lie at work. In one experiment, volunteers were left alone with a jar of sweets ostensibly meant for children. When the researchers returned, upper-class people had snaffled nearly twice as many candies as lower-class people.

“The general pattern seems to be that with wealth and rising power, you become less engaged with the needs of others and less burdened by the needs of social relationships,” Piff said. “Taking candy from children might be the least of our worries but it’s emblematic of the tendency to prioritise one’s own needs over those of others.”

Dolly Parton was not a billionaire, because multi-millionaires who are good people like her never get past that last finish line. Not when there are kids who need books to read and sick people who need vaccines.

She could have died a multibillionaire but didn't because she put her money to work in the world instead of hoarding it. If even half the billionaire class had an ounce of her integrity and humanity the world would be a much better place.

When a swathe of Sevier County, Tennessee, where she grew up, burned to the ground in a wildfire several years back, she just quietly handed over cash to the people who needed it to get by until things could be rebuilt. It was some time after before the news even picked up on it.

The thing about Dolly Parton is that she coulld've done what most who become wildly famous and wealthy do, which would be to let it corrode her heart and soul to a husk, but - critically - she never did. She remembered where she came from til the day she died and did all she could to lift others
