Team members Drs. Kirkland, Ferguson, Tomko, and Squeglia, with Tirza Alcala and @louisemewton.bsky.social (University of Sydney), published one of the first papers using Entryway data, finding that a 30-day recall window is sufficient and less burdensome for assessing youth alcohol use patterns.

Dr. Lindsay Meredith and UCLA collaborators found that ibudilast, an anti-inflammatory medication, reduced alcohol craving in a 12-week trial for alcohol use disorder. Women may respond more strongly to immune-based treatments. Read more in @acerjournal.bsky.social #Research #MUSC #UCLA
