I recently watched both series of Andor, thanks to the recommendation of the @ohgodwhatnow.bsky.social podcast. Absolutely loved it, and was very pleasantly surprised to see lots of my favourite Brutalist / Modernist buildings featured, albeit in heavy disguise 1/2 #andor #starwars

The Post Office Tower. Still magnificent after all these years.

Arlington House in Margate, snapped through a train window on my way to the stunning @warringtonruncorn.com gig in Ramsgate yesterday.

Staggeringly brilliant and exhilarating set by @warringtonruncorn.com last night at Ramsgate Music Hall. Top notch sound, with a set including some absolute faves, and visuals that leave you mourning for what we've lost. Wonderful and emotional. (Anyone wanna swap an XL t-shirt for an L? 😬)

41 years after I fell in love with 'Wacky Hi-Jinx', I finally got to see Adrenalin OD live. Woahl, they were sooo good - tore the place apart! Tight as you like, and absolutely raging. Some of us pensioners even had a little slam down the front whilst struggling to catch our breath. Awesome.

I usually hate these AI creations, but I make exceptions every now and then.

Hard to disagree with anything Nowak states in this article. Farage is nothing but a right wing grifter who cares nothing for 'ordinary' people.

Minories cap park, near the Tower of London, looking a wee bit like a pencil sketch.

Such a beaut! Denys Lasdun's National Theatre on London's South Bank. A quick snap from Saturday.

Denys Lasdun's National Theatre on London's South Bank. Such an imposing and beautiful building. I highly recommend the architectural tour which demonstrates why it's such a brilliantly designed theatre. #brutalist

Bobigny Hotel de Ville (town hall). Bobigny, a suburb to the NE of Paris, is an absolute wonder of Modernism and Brutalism.

He's reflecting nothing, he's leading the charge to the far right. No wonder the BBC is losing credibility; its approach to Authoritarianism is appeasement and normalisation. @bbcnewsnight.bsky.social

Fascism and Authoritarianism have arrived in the USA. There can no longer be any doubt - it's not something that can be debated, and people need to start responding to what it actually is rather than what they hope it might be. @simonmarksfsn.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk youtu.be/nM1dQNev7Ak?...

Putin’s useful idiot, Steve Witkoff, parrots Kremlin propaganda that regions of Ukraine voted to be part of Russia in referenda. Well, here is the official US State Department video which described them as a sham and evidenced the use of armed guards to intimidate voters.

The brilliant @bjennings90.bsky.social on top form in @theguardian.com yesterday. Trump and Putin are nothing but gangsters, carving up Ukraine for their own interests.
