as I said, the fee is not his fault so it shouldn't be used as a stick to beat him, the main problem with the defence is the chronic lack of pace

the improvement is he's a lot more decisive coming for the ball when it's played over the top, Arthur could never decide if he was coming or not, the transfer fee is not Patterson's fault, whether he's worth that much or not he a definite upgrade

Well said. How many of Tommy Robinson’s Sport’s Direct paramilitary division go and help or worship at the churches they claim they want to protect. It’s much easier to don a balaclava and shout at the RNLI. #HopeNotHate

Brexit was an act of war by Russia against the UK and its home in Europe. It was an extension of Russia’s 2014 invasion of Ukraine that defeated the UK’s political establishment in 2016. Chronicling Russia’s war from the beginning, I called out Brexit for what it was more than ten years ago.

If the vast majority of the press wasn’t up to its neck in the same muck it would pointing out how ludicrous it is for Britain’s most dishonest politician to call someone a liar, they won’t, they’ll attack Burnham, there’s not even a semblance of national interest over money now, media is broken

Man who enobled a KGB agent's son... despite SIS raising concerns... says what?
This is just not true. As soon as I became
foreign secretary I asked the security
services the same question and they
replied that there was no evidence of any
successful interference in the 2016
referendum, by Russia or any other power

Either the security services have changed
their view - which would be very odd - or
Burnham is lying about what he has been
told. After all Starmer was in power for two
years and had access to exactly the same
information.

Was that the same security services you dumped to visit ‘ex’ KGB colonel Alexander Lebedev and party in Umbria just after the Novichok Salisbury attack? Or the same security services whose advice you defied to put his son Evgeny in the House of Lords? Those security services?

The issue isn't "Did Russia change the result?". The important thing is they tried & they'll keep trying. If someone tried to break into your bank account you wouldn't say "They failed once so it doesn't matter". You'd change your passwords & increase security before they had a chance to try again

And the fun thing with inherited religion is that if you lived in a different part of the world it would be a different religion, almost as if religion is just a cultural, man-made thing, not a divine gift

“My made up story is better the their made up story” If you live in the US or the UK you’re constantly told you live in a “Christian country” therefore that is the religion that is more likely to be talked about, I would guess Athiests in Pakistan would be more likely to criticise Islam

For 14yrs, the Tories cratered our economy, added thousands to our cost of living, melted down public services and brexited us into decades of eye-watering expense and lost opportunity. That’s still their plan. With tax breaks for the super rich paid for by welfare cuts. So what TF is this headline?
