Todd Sterrett @mtsterrett.bsky.social · 20/09/2026This is a great example of one of the things I worry about wrt AI. We have a whole lot of things that work because people put a lot of effort into making them happen exactly right. Enshittification of complex things like airports and JIT delivery chains is going to be a problem. 021

Todd Sterrett @mtsterrett.bsky.social · 11/09/2026So there I was sitting in a parking lot that's long gone now, in total shock. A little later that day we set up a huge TV and watched together. I was in total shock. We ended up sending everyone home, but I was one of the few that stayed, since I could more easily respond to emergencies than others. 100
Todd Sterrett @mtsterrett.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I always hesitate to mention 9/11 for many reasons, but I do vividly remember where I was when I heard about it. Driving into work that day I wasn't really listening to the news on the radio even through I had it on. It wasn't until I parked and a friend contacted me that I really started listening. 101
