I finally caught up with issue #2 of Skate Ali from @darkhorse.com and WOW I am all in - this might be my new favorite ongoing! The first two issues have been SO fun and planting a lot of really cool seeds I’m excited to see grow throughout the story.

Set up a new board last night! Another axe for the quiver 😅 I’ve never skated anything bigger than an 8.45, so a 10.75 is going to be a trip! Today will be day 115 of skateboarding every day after not touching a board for like 15 years - excited to break this new board in on lunch. 🤘

FINALLY got to sit down and read Speed Racer #1 from @peposed.bsky.social and team this weekend (at the botanical garden!) and it was SO GOOD! It had been taunting me from the top of my TBR pile and ended up being everything I wanted and more. Action packed and heartfelt. Go pick it up! #comics

Whoops! I was looking forward to Thursday stream, but mixed up when family was coming into town. No Thursday stream because nephew time! But we’ll be back Sunday to finish up that first Hellboy playthrough and then do some Batman runs. 🤘

I’m not sure how he does it, but @peposed.bsky.social has made me tear up in back to back issues of SPACE GHOST 😭 I loved Coast to Coast as a kid, but seeing the universe explored in a more serious matter has been SO cool. It’s got action and feels aplenty and I can’t recommend it enough #comics
