I admit to being rather confused when some folks offer that Andrew Tate should face the death penalty for his sex crimes when it's a well-known fact he was brutally murdered by Greta Thunberg back in 2022.

So, funny thing. The Pentagon ended identity protection services for those personnel caught in the 2015 data breach on 30 September. I've heard servicemembers are starting to get letters from Defense Manpower Data Center inviting them to sign up for identity protection services....🤣

Italian ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti inside the International Space Station (ISS), sipping fresh espresso from a special 3D-printed "Zero-G cup" designed to use the fluid's surface tension to let the astronauts sip from it rather than using a straw from a pouch. She has short dark hair, wears a red-and-black jacket over a purple shirt (a Star Trek uniform specifically for the occasion), and smiles softly while Earth’s blue horizon and swirling white clouds fill the huge circular window above her.

NASA astronaut & biochemistry researcher Peggy Whitson holds the US space endurance record. Cumulatively, she spent 695 days in #space--the equivalent of a hypothetical round trip to Mars. First woman NASA Chief Astronaut, 2009. #WomenInSTEM #WorldSpaceDay 🚀
A wide-angle interior photograph of legendary astronaut Dr. Peggy Whitson floating effortlessly in microgravity inside the seven-window Cupola observatory module of the International Space Station. Dr. Whitson is angled diagonally across the frame with one outstretched arm while smiling confidently at the camera. She sports her signature short, blonde pixie haircut and wears a dark blue and black commercial flight jumpsuit adorned with the prominent embroidered logo of Axiom Space alongside a mission patch on her chest. Behind her, the large, panoramic circular and trapezoidal windows frame a breathtaking, brilliantly lit view of planet Earth below, displaying bright blue oceans blanketed by swirling white cloud patterns. The geometric framework of the spacecraft interior, lined with handrails, switches, and wiring, creates a complex border around the vivid windows. The overall mood is triumphant, serene, and awe-inspiring. This image carries profound historical significance, documenting Whitson's groundbreaking transition to commercial spaceflight as a mission commander, continuing to break age and endurance milestones well into her sixties.

#OTD in 2009 biologist Dr. Carolyn Greider & biochemist Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn shared the #Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine (w/J. Szostak) for discovering of telomerase & how chromosomes are protected by telomeres. Monumental implications for the #aging & #cancer research fields. #WomenInSTEM
A portrait-style photograph of American molecular biologist Dr. Carol W. Greider (born April 15, 1961) on the left, standing slightly ahead of Australian-American molecular biologist Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn (born November 26, 1948) on the right. Both women are positioned from the chest up, smiling warmly and directly at the camera against a minimalist, seamless off-white background. Dr. Greider wears a vibrant, structured red coat over a cream-colored top, her shoulder-length blonde hair parted in the middle and framing her bright expression. Dr. Blackburn wears a heavy, charcoal-grey tweed coat over a black shirt, accessorized with a delicate gold chain necklace bearing a round pendant. She has light brown, shoulder-length hair and thin-rimmed oval glasses. The lighting is soft and even, highlighting their joyful expressions in a mood of shared triumph and deep professional camaraderie. Taken in March 2009, shortly before they jointly received the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, this image holds profound historical significance, representing a landmark celebration of their co-discovery of the enzyme telomerase and its role in chromosome protection.
