One sure way to tell when it is going to be an El Nino year without any weather human or media telling you so, it is when it is not yet October and the Eastern Pacific region is on tropical named storm/hurricane R (Rachel) and the Atlantic basin is only on G (Gonzalo).

It depends on what section of the US-395. From Alturas north to the Canadian border is better that prescription sleep aids. The section of the US-395 from Olancha to Bridgeport is too glorious to sleep to. Except that trucker that I reported to the CHP for swerving yesterday at Crowley Lake.

Travis the border collie lab mix is mostly an all black medium to large dog with white paws and a white muzzle. He is currently lying in his favorite spot next to the bamboo where he can spy any human, car, ground squirrel, pr heaven forfend, another dog pass by on the road.
