The serial killer exhibition in Seattle may be selling two fewer tickets. Kid 1.0 was thinking of going. Until I asked where the money is going because it seems unethical to profit off the work of serial killers. She looked: doesn’t seem to benefit any nonprofit or forensic science institution. 🫤

Kid 1.0 & I saw The Strokes last night. It’s great to see a band that’s been around a while has added younger fans through more than parents. Really wide age range. Sat by some older-teen boys who were as enthusiastic as I’ve ever seen in a seating area. (One in a Lin Knicks jersey.)

Incredibly disappointed in the NYT. (I know, I know: why am I still reading them at all? This is one of those days I wonder why I pay them even $8/month.) That headline does not begin to tell the story here, and journalists should do the work to figure it out. Do better.
