Mitch McConnell took 92 PAID days off and retained his benefits. He "came back" for a few quick votes and is gone again. I have ZERO paid leave because the little I had was used up last school year. I teach 5th grade every day while exhausted. I need a substantial amount of help. Thank you. ❤️

Another day, another denial. Every couple months, my Signatera ctDNA test gets denied again. They say it's "experimental" & hasn't been proven to increase outcomes for patients, but it tells my oncologist if I have tumor DNA in my body BEFORE it would show up on a scan! $4,900. Every 2 months. 🫩😞

I went to college, got 2 bachelor's degrees, a master's degree, a teaching career. I had my babies, married the best man I know. And it didn't matter in the end. I got sick, really sick. And I have nothing to show for the years of hard work because medical bills took it all away. We need change.

I agree! It's unbelievable how the system "works" here. They have even denied me having various CT and PET scans before, deeming them "not medically necessary." For stage IV cancer! I hate it. I'm in DEEP. Being sick has basically ruined my life financially. 🤦‍♀️
