Mr. Helgus @mrhelgus.bsky.social · 08/06/2026I'm starting to get so fatigued watching all these game showcases because out of all the games shown, even if I was interested in only half of them I know that nowadays I'll end up playing 2 of them MAYBE and just the presentation style, like how often can you hear "an epic journey awaits" anymore 060
Reposted by Mr. HelgusSupper Mario Broth @mariobrothblog.bsky.social · 03/06/2026In Mario Party, minigame descriptions treat being eliminated merely as being out of the game, except for Bumper Balls, which drastically shifts the tone by stating the winner is the last one left alive. This implies that while other minigames might be for fun, Bumper Balls is to the death. 3136981108

I've never before felt the need to justify myself on this, it seems so baffling that some people really believe these are comparable generating "art" is abhorrent 2100

![In Mario Party, the descriptions for minigames involving characters being hurt or eliminated use neutral language, such as characters being "knocked off" or "poked", and the winner being "the last one standing". However, the tone shifts drastically for Bumper Balls, the Mini-Game Island description of which states that the winner is the "last one alive".
