Today I’m watching two horror movies I’ve never seen (thanks to @terrorvisionvids.bsky.social ), ‘Happy Hell Night’ and ‘Patchwork’! And I was shocked to learn that Sam Rockwell and Darren McGavin (the Dad from A Christmas Story) are in Happy Hell Night! 😮

AC update: It appears there are two leaks on the pipe going into the back of the outside unit, so it’s low on refrigerant and inside unit was freezing up. The tech said he doesn’t have the parts to fix it today, but he’s gonna refill the refrigerant, then schedule a time to fix the leak.

My just barely a year old central air unit decided to stop working today. I called to see if I could get someone out to look at it, and they could, but it’d an extra fee, which is fine. But, it starts up again, so they say we can reschedule for Monday and avoid the fee. 30 minutes later it stops.🤦‍♂️

Since it’s national Bourbon day, my brother came over and we had some 10 year Old Rip Van Winkle, then we had a little Jack Daniels that my dad bought in the 90’s! My brother inherited the bottle, so he brings it over every now and then for us to try. It’s held up surprisingly well. 😁🥃
