Thank you @omarfatehmn.com! You ran a campaign that put residents first, inspiring working people across the city, energizing a new generation of leaders and reminding all of us we deserve a City that works as hard as we do. You raised the bar and set a standard for what our city can be.

Thank you @katiecashman.bsky.social for two incredible years as a City Council Member. You ran two tough and principled campaigns, and as a result are the only progressive to represent Ward 7 in over two decades. While your opponent spent $250k to buy your seat, you refused to sell your values

Thank you @efornorth.bsky.social! As a voice for working people and families in Ward 5 that have been left behind for too long, your leadership as a Council Member would have benefitted our city tremendously.

Congratulations to @aurinmpls.bsky.social who was elected for the 2nd time as Council Member in Ward 12. With her win in 2023, Ward 12 finally elected a progressive to represent them on City Council. Her resounding win this year demonstrates the incredible work she has done in just 2 short years.

“Instead of being powered by people and guided by principles, Frey became the embodiment of an establishment candidate running on hypocrisy and realpolitik.” This election is about backing a grassroots movement or capitulating to the same old corporate politics as usual. buff.ly/FSXSjbK
Mpls for the Man logo with the following text below: "In Minneapolis, Frey has embraced the politics of poison. Frey is counting on the fact that Fateh will be attacked for being Black, Somali, Muslim, immigrant and a self-described Democratic Socialist. Investing in housing that renters can afford is the best way to stop homelessness. Luckily the progressive majority on City Council has passed a number of important renter protections, but there’s a lot more we could do if we elect a new mayor who is willing to work for renters.

Why have Mayor Frey, Todd Barnette and MPD refused to answer questions about MPD’s inability to comply with the audit into the Davis Moturi case? Apparently, it’s because they haven’t actually done any work, as Commissioner Barnette just admitted: he hasn’t even been involved.

As Eli Shermann and Heather Silsbee recently laid out for Racket, when it comes to housing, the Mayor’s track record is littered with lies and broken promises. If we ever want to really address housing and homelessness in Minneapolis, we need to elect a new mayor. buff.ly/YRsV8MV
