Die Sektion Politische Theorie und Ideengeschichte der DVPW kritisiert das geplante Verbot von KI-Verboten an Hochschulen in Bayern.[1] Dieser pauschale Vorstoß ist ein Eingriff in die Freiheit der Lehre von Hochschulen und Lehrenden. Es ist Aufgabe der Universitäten und Hochschullehrenden, festzusetzen, welche Kompetenzen Studierende im Verlauf des Studiums erwerben sollen. Damit verbunden muss auch die Auswahl der Prüfungsformen für diese Kompetenzen – inklusive Prüfungsformen ohne KI-Nutzung – bei den Hochschulen und Hochschullehrenden liegen. Es sind die Hochschullehrenden, die den Einsatz von Hilfsmitteln für den Kompetenzerwerb am besten beurteilen können. Diese zuzulassen oder nicht, gehört zur Freiheit der Lehre. Zudem deuten wissenschaftliche Studien darauf hin, dass die Verwendung von generativer KI langfristige schädliche Auswirkungen auf den Erwerb wissenschaftlicher Kernkompetenzen hat (Reflexionsvermögen, eigene Ideenentwicklung, kritisches Denken, analytisches Lesevermögen, Schreibfähigkeiten).[2] Es ist Aufgabe der Wissenschaft, diese Forschung zu beurteilen und darüber zu befinden, ob und wo der Einsatz von KI-Instrumenten sinnvoll ist. Wir fordern die Bayerische Staatsregierung deswegen dazu auf, von einem vorschnellen pauschalen Verbot von KI-Verboten Abstand zu nehmen.Quellenverweise zur Stellungnahme
