B&W capture of an extremely large pine I came across this past December. Marked with a “Wildlife Tree” sign, to protect the ecosystem that thrives here.

Some choose to ignore these protections & just see this tree as an entity for money or plaguing it as just another piece of debris that needs to be ignored and cut dwn. Microscopic views tell otherwise.
