I feel like I’m living In a dystopian novel written in 1993 that was rejected by dozens of publishers because it was incredibly stupid.

I'm about to dive into this @aptshadow.bsky.social book since there's a 2nd one as well! Afterwards I'll continue on my great re-reading journey with two awesome books by my all-time favorite author @greatdismal.bsky.social in the hopes that the 3rd installment is almost done #currentlyreading

I'm on a @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social roll! Rereading Absolution with my eyeballs instead of the audiobook is definitely a different experience, and I'm enjoying every moment of it. then I'll start rereading the Borne books. #SouthernReach #bornetrilogy

Re-reading the #southernreach series by @jeffvandermeer.bsky social... I have to say it's been lovely to revisit his hauntingly sparse style that says so much in between the lines... It's a real feast the brain! #supportyourlocallibrary

Terribly sad news 😭 Jennifer Finch, longtime bassist for the influential US punk and alternative rock band L7, has died. The musician passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 59, following a battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer. Rest in Power Jennifer 💔🖤 #RipJenniferFinch

It's just a giant rolling ball of flame. Where are the different colors? Where are the shapes and patterns? Where are the quiet spaces between rockets that enhance the explosion to come? It is all just pointlessly excessive with zero artistic merit. Not exactly a shock with Trump, but still...

I've always loved Vox's reports and deep dives, however I am currently BROKE as are many others in the USA right now. I cancelled every subscription I had which is unprecedented. I hope to be able to afford to read paywalled articles again someday. Your work is definitely worth it
