AI crap has invaded a metal channel I'm subscribed to with an AI generated thumbnail and music video, and the account of said band is desperately arguing with people in the comments about it (and denying that the thumbnail is AI). This sucks. Don't put shit like this in your channel.

There was a time a Knuckles sprite mod I made for Sonic CD got a video made about it, and the title was "KNUCKLES BUT FIXED!", with the thumbnail saying the original was bad and my mod was correct. I had to tell the guy to not call my mod a "fix". Thankfully he changed the title afterwards.

I didn't cherrypick it, it was the literal first result, and near every other result below it was how SM64 should be played with a ton of mods. Presenting the options is cool. Presenting in a way they replace and improve the original is a whole other thing, though.

Completely changing the moveset and experience makes sense if you're making your own package, with your own boss fights and levels. But these are done usually exclusively to "improve" the original game, and people insist this is the "definitive" way to revisit these. It's so weird.

Kinda hate how "playing an old game on PC" has become synonymous with "it's unplayable unless you mod everything about it. You have to play the DEFINITIVE* way!"
